With a strong creative and technical background in television and video production, Becky Liscum draws on experience from both sides to execute challenging multi-cam field remotes to intimate and rare sit-down interviews with political luminaries, celebrities, and extraordinary families. As a co-founder of Story Buzz Media, she was an Executive Producer of the award-winning Disney web series Citizen Kid, Co-Executive Producer of the WTTW Digital series Chefs off the Clock, and a producer/director of segments for the Today Show, Third Hour. She collaborates with clients to integrate marketing strategies seamlessly into exceptional episodes of content when a sponsor is involved. She also worked with NBC staff to produce meaningful content for the Today Show. Her work, along with Executive Producer Gail Grasso has earned the duo six Telly Awards and four Emmy nominations.

During her 15 years on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Becky worked directly with Ms. Winfrey and regular celebrity contributors in the field. As lead field producer at the First Annual Clinton Global Foundation event in New York City, she conducted sit-down interviews with Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Shimon Peres, and world political thinkers.

She was an “underwater producer” capturing Sir Richard Branson piloting a one-of-a-kind revolutionary underwater craft in the Caribbean waters off his private island retreat, and followed the actor Glenn Close and her canine therapy dogs to a maximum-security prison.

Becky and co-executive producer Gail Grasso have produced heartfelt stories for Lurie Children’s Hospital’s annual meetings and specialized departments. She directs field shoots, interviews guests, writes, supervises edits, and follows projects from concept to post-production, delivering on a budget and a deadline.

Becky holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration.
